Today, I am an athlete
So, I'm still rocking the whole exercise deal: Yoga, walking, and strength. Yoga and walking every day; strength every other. But, get this: I have this fat-tester, right? Okay, so it has these two modes: athlete and normal. I'd kept it on normal because I was like "I ain't no athlete." But, for shits and grins, I changed my setting this evening just to see what happened. My body fat dropped almost an entire percentage point. Just by changing the setting. Yeah. So then, I was like "Well, how does one deserve the 'athlete' setting?" Now, of course the instruction manual that came with the tester is nowhere to be seen. After a quick search online, I find a PDF of it. You can use the athlete setting IF your FIT index is 60 or above. The FIT index is: Frequency of the workout times the Intensity times the Time. Looking at how often I do it, the types of activities they list under intensities, and the amount of time I spend: I am an athlete. And I didn't even know it. Yeah, I'm getting all sexy up in here, y'all. Holla!
